Brandy Duncan brings more than 20 years of banking experience to KEMBA, with a combination of consumer and business banking. She has a bachelor’s degree from AIU in business administration and has dedicated her career to helping clients manage their financial needs with a focus on both individuals and businesses.
She has a strong commitment to community involvement and has served on several boards. Brandy has most recently been involved with Women Influencing Louisville Charities and the Kids Cancer Alliance, organizations dedicated to supporting local communities and children battling cancer. While newer to Central Ohio, she is quickly becoming active in the community and looks forward to discovering opportunities to serve.

James Bevins

James Bevins brings 23 years of financial services experience in central Ohio and joined KEMBA in July 2024. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University and is active in his community, coaching youth baseball in Sunbury, OH, and as a parishioner at St. John Neumann.
James has worked with businesses and non-profits of all sizes, from startups to companies with $200M in annual sales. He takes a consultative approach, providing creative and resourceful solutions even when the answer may be no, leveraging his extensive network to help clients succeed. His focus on small businesses, which employ 46% of Americans, drives his passion for offering tailored strategies that foster long-term success.
James believes that thorough preparation, industry knowledge, and genuine care are key to building lasting relationships. He works closely with industry leaders to provide valuable insights, helping businesses thrive. His commitment to continuous learning, giving back to the community, and mentoring the next generation of bankers is a cornerstone of his career. In his personal life, James has enjoyed numerous hobbies. James enjoys fly fishing for trout, and spending time with family; he is excited to be a first-time grandparent as of 2024. James also played baseball at Ohio Dominican University.
A standout accomplishment for James was assisting a Columbus startup in securing SBA financing in 2009. Within a decade, they surpassed $100 million in revenue and have since become the gold standard in their industry, creating hundreds of jobs and supporting local initiatives. Witnessing their growth has been one of his most rewarding experiences.
Scott Karr

Scott Karr brings over 10 years of financial services experience, having worked with industry leaders like JP Morgan Private Bank, Chase, and Huntington. He joined KEMBA in July of 2024. Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from Otterbein University and holds a FINRA Series 99 certification.
As a proud Veteran, Scott is actively involved with SEALKIDS, Wounded Warriors, American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars in addition to Knights of Columbus and volunteering as a youth coach in Olentangy. He deeply values giving time back to his community.
Since joining KEMBA, Scott has set his focus on becoming an integral part of the local commercial and investment real estate market and continues to build strong connections in the community. With his experience, he has developed a deep understanding of business finance and prides himself on building individual relationships to empower his clients to thrive.
